The Symbolism of the Circle – The Heart of athotel35's Philosophy
The circle. A symbol of continuity, harmony, and nature. Our hotel's logo takes the shape of a circle – a form rooted in the landscape of Lake Słupeckie and local history. The inspiration came from the Swedish Mound – a water-surrounded settlement of the Lusatian culture, whose irregular form resembles a closed circle. According to local legend, during the Swedish invasion, the inhabitants of these lands used a stratagem that led to the invaders' retreat. In commemoration of these events, the place was named the Swedish Mound. The circle motif also appears in nature – on the lake's surface, when a raindrop creates fleeting yet powerful ripples. Our hotel fits into this landscape, connecting the past with the present and local identity with modern design.
